You know what fucks me right off? That little fascist, Iggle Piggle, his lady friend and those Tombliboo pricks swan around like royalty in the Ninky Nonk and they don't even let Makka Pakka on - Makka Pakka, whose entire life is devoted to cleaning up everyone else's shit and who's made to live alone in a fucking cave, and who asks nothing in return except perhaps a chance to see how the other half live for five fucking minutes. And he stands there with his little trike thing, waving frantically as the Ninky Nonk circles him, taunting him, but when the pigs finally do deign to stop it's all "Oh nooo, we don't let the help on the Ninky Nonk, dearmeno - you just give that locomotive a quick scrub and then we can carry on carousing around the garden and you can go back to your fucking cave with your fucking pet rock, you adorable little prole". The class wars are alive and well In The Night Garden.

Jim got me a Torx precision screwdriver for Christmas - yay Jim! - so I immediately set about dismantling my dead N770 and blowing the dust out. Not surprisingly, this had no effect whatsoever, so I'm still hanging on for a replacement/upgrade when I get rich (any day now). But I don't care because after that I took apart, cleaned out and revived not one but two other Nokia phones, a 6230i which was stuck in handsfree mode after Conor had drooled on it last year and my beloved 6300 with my beloved Worms 2007 installed on it, whose screen had spontaneously gone blank a couple of months ago. Fucking WIN, people. AND Superman's on telly. Coincidence? I think not. I'm gonna go see what else I can takeapartandputbacktogetheragain.

This is LeSinge.org v3.0. It's on its sixth* server since I registered the domain name in November of 2000 and it has gone through several drastic facelifts in that time, usually prompted by some cataclysmic event like someone deleting a load of files they shouldn't, or a server being shut down. This is the maddest layout yet; I'm trying to fit the entire weblog (apart from diary archives and the gallery) into a single loading page using all sorts of PHP-generated DHTML jiggery-pokery. The idea is to make it more inviting to look around since there's no loading between "pages". It's still a work in progress (more a proof of concept than anything), so be patient!

I'm Klingybert Binglevase! Dave Whyte, an Irish CS graduate, German speaker, linguist and incredibly talented web developer. I'm originally from Fermoy but I now live in Newbridge with my wife Beth and our son. I'm currently working for these fine folks and enjoying it greatly.
